Simon Brock
After gaining a BSc and PhD in Computing Science from Imperial College, London he worked for Fujitsu and Nortel. In 1990, he became a university academic -- as a lecturer at UEA Norwich and a research fellow at the University of St Andrews. It was while he was a research fellow, he established the company in 1995 before joining the company full time in 2000. He has worked on various international collaborations funded by UK and EU government.
Getting away from the office is one of his ambitions. When he does he still gives an occasional lecture at UEA and is a contributing editor for PC Pro magazine. He has been known to go running, compete with his children for Playstation time and cook.
